We adopted our baby boy Spike from your facility in 2002. He was very clingy (likely due from being abandoned at your facility) but he has turned out to be a wonderful companion. Your facility was absolutely wonderful and kind when we adopted him. He is still going strong and we love him more and more with each passing day. We just had to put down his 12-year-old sister, Babe, on 5/6 and he (along with Mommy and Daddy) misses her terribly. My husband and I will hopefully be ready to open our hearts once again to adopt another shelter dog in the next few months. If and when we are ready to do so, your shelter is the one we will be turning to! Keep up the great work. Your staff and all of your animals will be kept in my prayers! God Bless!

I want to thank the West Volusia Humane Society for the most beautiful, intelligent, obedient dog we have ever owned! We adopted Kuna, a dobie/greyhound then called Pebbles, in 1995 and she never had to be tied or leashed for the eleven years she was in our family. When we had to say farewell to her, we promptly replaced her with a German Shepherd who had been severely abused and is now my love and protection. Everyone who has love to share should consider adoption of a wonderful dog or cat to join their family!

I checked out all the links on your web site, very nice and friendly. Am working diligently on my "Presents 4 Pets" charity campaign for items the center needs to care for the animals. Lord willing we will have enough to truly help!
